These codes link many different carriers to the same “parent” company. To see this list click the Affiliates tab on the main menu. Below is a sample of this list. The check box is used to lock a record and prevent deletion or alteration. The required records are A, AA, AX, BS, C, DC, M/C, MA, MR, VI. To unlock a records requires a password.
Why are there Affiliate records
Though there can be dozens of Aetna records in the Insurances Module, the parent company, or "Affiliate" is still Aetna, or “A”. When you create your reports you could group all Aetna related charges, payments and adjustments under one affiliate. You assign an insurance carrier to an Affiliate in the Billing Information section in the Insurances Module.

and
confirm your action! The code must be unique.

delete
a single record click the
icon. If
the record is locked or a system requirement you will get the dialog
below!
